Monthly Activities

Bookworms
This is a group of women from our church that meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Friendship Room at the church. Books are selected by the members of the group. List of recently read books

Senior Mens Breakfast Group
Each month the senior men from our church meet at King's in Bridgeville for breakfast.

Hooks and Needles
If you knit, crochet, needlepoint (or anything related) consider coming on the first Saturday afternoon of every month. If you don't do any of those things but would love to learn, you're welcome, too! We have experts, amateurs and everything in between so come and give it a try. Those who are first timers may want to contact Trisha Eliason or Susan Nilson to see what basic supplies you should acquire.

Annual/Seasonal Activities

Kick-Off Service Breakfast
Members of the church meet before the Kick-Off Service for breakfast and other activities. The Kick-Off Breakfast is sponsored by the Community Building committee.

House Day
In order to keep our church beautiful, several times a year, a group of members from our church perform inside activities such aa painting and minor maintenance. House Day is sponsored by the Building and Grounds committee.

Fall Festival
Members of the church meet for a pot luck dinner and other activities at the church during the fall. The Fall Festival is sponsored by the Community Building committee.

Flea Market
During the fall, a group of members from our church collect donated items and hold a one day Flea Market. The proceeds from the flea market benefit the church. It is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Deck the Halls
Members of the church meet to decorate the church for Christmas. Dinner is provided and there are activities for the children. Deck the Halls is sponsored by the Community Building committee.

De-Deck the Halls
Members of the church meet to take down the Christmas decorations. De-Deck the Halls is sponsored by the Community Building committee.

Earth Day
In order to keep our church beautiful, several times a year, a group of members from our church perform outside activities such as weeding, mulching and planting on the church grounds. Earth Day is sponsored by the Building and Grounds committee.

Easter Service Breakfast
Members of the church meet before the Easter service for breakfast and other activities. The Easter Breakfast is sponsored by the Community Building committee.

Church Picnic
During the summer members of all ages enjoy good food and various activities.

Other Activities
During the year the Parish Life committee schedule many activities for all ages. Recent activities have included miniture golf, snow tubing, a Thanksgiving progressive dinner, snow skiing and a pool party.
