Wallace Memorial Food Pantry Collection Sunday |
Food Banks all over our community are reporting desperate needs for
food. Shelves are low on supplies and major cuts are being made to
assistance programs. On Sunday, we will have our regular
collection for the Wallace Food Pantry. Please give generously to help
those in need. The food pantry is in particular need of pasta, dry
cereal (prefer healthy varieties such as Cheerios), peanut butter and chunky
or hearty varieties of soup. The food pantry appreciates your donations.
Wondering what to else you can buy? Some of the most needed items are:
cereal (high fiber, low sugar), canned tuna and salmon (packed in water),
fruit and vegetable juice ( 100%, any size), canned beans (kidney, black,
navy), canned vegetables, peanut butter (15 oz or 18 oz) and
baby items of all
types (diapers, formula, food).
Please give generously.
There are also opportunities to help out at the food bank! Check
out their website at

to volunteer for the fall food share or let Keith Mason know if you are
interested in helping out at the next Produce to People
