Volunteer opportunities during worship
Coffee Hour Hosting
Each Sunday we have a member host the coffee hour after the 9:00 service and after the 10:15 am service. The host’s responsibility is to setup the coffee and tea. The hosts often bring a treat such as sweet rolls, banana bread, etc. Typically, a host will be assigned to a few Sundays a year. If you would like to get on the list to host, please contact Donna Williams.

Communion Preparation
People are needed to bake the bread for communion. The Worship and Music committee members prepare the plates and cups for serving communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Communion Servers
Communion Servers serve the communion on the first Sunday of the month. Please contact Steve Mangin or Anne Mitchell.
Greeters
Each Sunday we have two greeters at three of the entrances (total of six) for the 10:15 am service. The greeters welcome members and visitors to the service. Typically, a greeter will be assigned to three or four Sundays a year. If you would like to get on the list to greet, please call Glenn Child.

Lector
Lectors read a Bible passage and the prayer for the offering at the 10:15 am service every Sunday. If you would like to be a lector, please contact Steve Mangin.
Sound System Operator
One person runs the sound board at the 9:00 am service and another person at the 10:15 am service every Sunday. If you would be interesting in learning to run the sound system on Sunday mornings, please contact Steve Mangin or Anne Mitchell.
Ushers
Ushers pass out bulletins and collect the offering at the 9:00 am and 10:15 am service every Sunday. At the 10:15 am service, there are two groups of four ushers and each group performs their duties every other month. Contact Anne Mitchell to volunteer. |
